I’m Curtis Dingman, a storyteller who’s spent years weaving together words, worlds, and ideas that range from the quirky to the heartfelt. For almost a decade, I’ve been joined on this creative journey by my good friend Aaron Newman. Together, we’ve built the Out of Control Collective — a studio where imagination doesn’t just live, it runs wild.

The Story So Far

My writing journey started in the world of secular books and off-the-wall ideas. Horror, humor, satire — if it sparked my imagination, I found a way to put it on the page. But over time, my path began to shift. I felt called to use my creativity in a way that pointed people toward something deeper: faith, hope, and encouragement.

That’s where The Anointed Quill was born. It’s my faith-based imprint inside the Collective — home to children’s books, devotionals, and creative projects that inspire both kids and adults. I’m also working on my first full-length faith-based novels, where storytelling and scripture meet in powerful ways.

Behind the Curtain

While I’m the loud and messy creative mind, Aaron is the steady hand behind the scenes. He’s been my friend for nearly a decade, and the one who helps turn all these big, chaotic ideas into something real. Without him, the Collective wouldn’t be nearly as “collected.”

Looking Ahead

Out of Control Collective is more than just a brand. It’s a growing creative studio where faith, fun, and imagination all have a place. From mugs that make you laugh, to coloring books that calm your spirit, to stories that lift your heart — everything we create comes from that shared vision.
